Membership to club benefits

Before joining the club we recommend you start paddling with us on a taster session which can be booked on line

We are a Paddleuk registered club that specializes in developing your skills in a wide range of paddling activities through the club, club members have the opportunity to paddle on our monthly paddling sessions as well arrange paddlesports training as well as training sessions with external providers

We regularly arrange trips with other clubs including Paddle sports Coaching and Lee Valley Paddle sport Club and Allenburys club which has access to the Lee Valley White Water Centre for development course and Wednesday Evening paddling, we also regularly aim to paddle in other locations and have trips away to moving water – we plan our trips so that we can undertake a range of activities at a level suitable to develop confidence within a white water setting.

Our Paddling Water is on the River Stort

The club is based at Kecksys Marina which is part of a working marina, you can find us at the bottom of the site which is a working yard – Most people on site are rebuilding boats and most are passionate about boating on the river – but the site is undergoing some transformation as we organise our paddling base this year and we currently have housing being built at the top of our site.

Our Facilities

We have a store for private boats and also have an outside storage area for canoes and kayaks in an open compound. Members are able to park and launch and store equipment with us.
