Whoosh Explore offer your group some great adventure days on the River Stort  We run a range of activities from canoe and kayak hire, to team building events for groups of all ages.

We run bespoke sessions to suit your requirements from a trip to a local pub or restaurant, to a team building day out with friends and colleagues, to paddling sessions for young paddlers and youth groups.

Team Building sessions

We are able to offer afternoon sessions great for team building where we head out to a local pub,   Our group paddles help you to build the strength of your team whilst you enjoy an easy paddling session on the river with opportunities to chat and mingle whilst focusing on paddling towards a pub.

We offer paddling sessions ranging from Ice breaker sessions to corporate away days for companies. We have a great reputation for delivering individualized paddling events, great to get your team interacting both on and off the water. Our sessions deliver to memorable days out.

Our sessions can cater for a range of abilities and we have both canoes and kayaks and paddleboards available for your team building session.

We can work with a local pub for a pub paddle experience or can organize an environmental day where you can support our work to improve the river environment for

Regular groups include Bishops Stortford Young Professionals, She Who Dares, Bishops Stortford Women’s Institute and Hertfordshire Guides and Scouts as well as many businesses who have participated in our sessions.

BBC filming for CBBC

Part of our paddling has included delivering on paddling sessions for the BBC including preparing for filming, sourcing trained young paddlers and working with Film crews both in boats and planning filming locations

Student Paddle sport Experience days

We have delivered a wide range of paddling experiences  working with Schools on Duke of Edinburgh training GCSE sports studies and  Expeditions in England and  wales and Scotland.  include Scout association and Girl Guides, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

School paddling taster days  include End of Year celebration events and expeditions with  students from Felsted School, Leventhorpe School, Herts and Essex School, and Joyce Franklin School and Northgate Youth Club.
