Club Trips
We will also have several trips for paddlers that want to explore the local rivers as part of our eco paddles- which are sessions where we work to help the local river ecology and our mid week paddles where we head off to different rivers around and about London and the South East and Anglia regions for paddling adventures.
Short on the Stort and Mid week paddles take place normally on a Friday morning and trips can range from beginners trips and adventurous trips away for members of the club.
Intro to White Water Paddling
As one of the leading white water clubs in the east of England we regularly run easy white water trips and tours on moving and white water, taking place via hiring LVWWC at a weekend or heading off to white water rivers as well as offering courses aimed at developing skills in Paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking via specialist coaching partners.
Alongside of this we get groups together with paddlers coming out on regular recreational trips which we organise for keen paddlers on our river tours.
Explore local Rivers
We are planning on exploring mainly English and Welsh rivers at present for this year adventures with some trips to Scotland and North Wales planed as well as the potential of some wild camping in south of France or Spain in the Pyrenees later on in the year.
Lee Valley White water paddling
Paddling at Lee Valley White water centre takes place with Lee valley Lee Valley Paddlesports Club on a Wednesday evening throughout the year as an ideal way to progress you paddling.
To paddle at LVWWC Lee Valley White Water Centre on the white water course, paddlers are required to have undertaken a training course to become competent in paddling moving water skills prior to undertaking a legacy or Olympic assessment for the course.
Beginners White Water courses
Most of our paddlers have also ventured onto white water either on our trips to Lee Valley White Water Centre LVWWC and we offer regular beginner to advanced white water trading and trips which we have planned and are available on request throughout the year. paddlesports coaching work with the club to keep our coaches up to date with skills.
